Kyle Busch and the number 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota found there way to victory lane for his second win of the year, but not without good strategy and a lot of luck. Fuel mileage would make all the difference in race two of the Pocono doubleheader.

As per the rules of the doubleheader weekend, the top 20 finishers of race one started inverted which put Michael McDowell and Chris Buescher on the front row for the start of the race.

Stage one though saw early troubles for McDowell's teammate Anthony Alfredo, as he had a tire go down and would hit the wall bringing out the first caution of the day on lap two. Martin Truex Jr would go on to win the first stage as William Byron would race his way back on to the lead lap by beating Truex to the line at the end of the stage.

Stage two saw Kyle Busch take the lead but at the same time experience transmission problems as the only gear that would work was fourth gear, he seemed pretty happy on the radio in spite of it as he was singing to his crew as stage two was near the end.

William Byron would become your stage two winner after coming back from a lap down in stage one, an impressive rebound to set up the final stretch of the 350 mile race.

The final stage of this race would prove who was the best at strategy and saving fuel as with laps winding down there was many cars that were close to making it without pitting but only a few would survive as Kyle Busch would become the leader as William Byron headed to pit road for fuel. Kyle Busch saved just enough to hold on for the victory in what could have been anyone's guess.
