Luck just happened to be on Alex Bowman's side today for the Pocono Organics CBD 325 in race one of the Pocono doubleheader weekend. Only leading 16 of the 130 lap scheduled race, it was lady luck helping Bowman secure the victory as Kyle Larson in the final lap would run into problems as a flat tire would send him from the lead to finishing ninth place as the 48 car would pass him into the final turn to take the win over his teammate.

Cole Custer would have his day ended early near the end of stage one as he would come up the race track on the long front straightaway while Brad Keselowski dove down trying to pass and avoid him, the two would ultimately make contact and send Custer hard into the wall with a lot of damage. Kyle Busch would wound up as your winner for stage one as William Byron would finish second. This marks Busch's third stage win of the year.

Stage two found more action as Spire Motorsports driver Corey Lajoie who was having a great day running in the top 15 - 20 found himself spun around and into the wall. His crew was able to make repairs and he'd finish the race in 36th several laps down. Ross Chastain would also have problems in stage two as he would get into the outside wall coming out of turn two (tunnel turn). Chastain would recover for a 33rd place finish. Kurt Busch would end up your winner for stage two

The final stage of the first race at Pocono Raceway seemed to be all Larson up until the final lap. With Bowman trailing about a second behind the leader, luck found his way as Larson would have tire troubles coming into the final corner of the race handing the win to Bowman the Showman.
