An anonymous source has confirmed to Racing Refresh that Thad Moffitt, the grandson of “The King” Richard Petty, will drive the Faction 46 Craftsman Truck Series entry in 2024. We can also exclusively report that Richard Petty will not be apart of the organization in any official capacity.
Moffitt driving for Faction 46 coincides with the Petty family celebrating 75 years in racing in 2024. The official announcement will come at Petty’s Garage in Level Cross, North Carolina on Saturday.
