ICYMI: Dale Earnhardt Jr. to Fill In as Crew Chief for Connor Zilisch at Pocono

We just found out that Dale Jr. is stepping in as a crew chief for the first time ever this weekend at Pocono in the Xfinity Series. He’ll be calling the shots for Connor Zilisch in the No. 88 car while the usual crew chief, Mardy Lindley, serves a suspension. This marks a whole new chapter for Dale Jr., adding “crew chief” to his already impressive Hall of Fame resume. He’ll also return to the broadcast booth for Prime’s final weekend of coverage after the race.
