ICYMI: Spire Motorsports Fines Carson Hocevar For Livestream Comments; Hocevar Apologizes

Carson Hocevar has been fined $50,000 and ordered to complete cultural sensitivity training after making inappropriate remarks about Mexico City during a livestream. We saw that the fine will go to organizations that support Mexican communities, which we think is a good step toward making things right. Spire Motorsports made it clear that Carson’s comments don’t reflect their values or those of NASCAR. Carson has publicly apologized, saying he regretted his remarks after experiencing the city and its fans firsthand.
