
Josh Berry captures pole, Keselowski to LCQ: Snowball Derby day two recap.

One of the most stressful days in motorsport came and went as it was qualifying night for the 55th Annual Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway. Derek Thorn entered today as the odds on favorite for capturing his fourth consecutive pole postion for the biggest race in short track racing. Unfortantely for him, pole postition went to another short track ace in Josh Berry. Berry claimed the pole over Thorn by only .04 seconds for a very strong front row for the Derby.
Due to Hunter Robbins and Bubba Pollard qualifying inside the Top 30, the two provesional spots were given to Augie Grill and Stephen Nasse due to points claimed during the Blizzard Series and Southern Super Series 2022 standings.
With only 32 spots claimed in qualifying day for the Snowball Derby, Brad Keselowski will be the biggest name heading Saturday night's last chance qualifer race. In the Snowball Derby LCQ, only four drivers of the twenty-two drivers competeing will advance to the 300 lap main event on Sunday.
