2025 Hopes and Expectations

Aston Martin retains the same driver lineup for 2025, following a second consecutive 5th-place finish in the Constructors' standings. However, the team experienced a significant decline, scoring 186 fewer points compared to 2023, marked by inconsistent performances and no race finishes higher than 5th. Lance Stroll faced significant challenges, being out-qualified 19-5 and outscored 70-24 by his veteran teammate, Fernando Alonso. His season was further marred by on-track mishaps, including a notable incident in Brazil where he beached his car during the formation lap, resulting in a DNF.

With the legendary Adrian Newey now involved full-time, can he help restore the team to the competitive form they displayed two seasons ago?

Bold Prediction

With Newey aboard and Alonso still defeating father time, Aston Martin enjoys a bounce-back season and contends for a top 4 finish in the constructors’ standings.
