  • Formula One Race Preview: Canadian Grand Prix

(Photo Credit: @F1 on Twitter) After two long years, Formula One fans in Canada can rejoice as racing returns to Montreal for Round Nine of the 2022 World Championship season at the famed Circuit Gilles Villeneuve for the Canadian Grand Prix. Entering this race, many are saying that the championship fight will come down to Team Red Bull as both Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez can extend their lead in both the drivers and constructors standings after unfortunate mishaps to Ferrari over the past month. Can Ferrari bounce back at the famed power circuit or will Red Bull continue to check out? All that and more in our Formula One race preview. Track Preview: Located on Montreal's Ile Notre-Dame (which was also host the the 1967 World's Fair), The Circuit Gilles Villeneuve is a 2.71 mile hybrid road course that has six left and eight right-hand turns that make up the fourteen turn road course. Along with hosting the Canadian Grand Prix, the circuit has hosted the FIA World Sportscar Championship, Champ Car, NASCAR Pinty and Xfinity Series, and the WeatherTech Sportscar Championship. Event History: Even though the event has been around since 1961, the first FIA sanctioned Canadian Grand Prix was held in 1967 when the famed Jack Brabham took home the victory at Mosport Park. From 1967 to 1977, the event bounced back and forth between Mosport and Mont-Tremblant. Since 1978, Montreal has been host to the event and has been a mainstay on the Formula One calendar ever since. Lewis Hamilton is tied with Michael Schumacher with the most wins all-time at the event with seven while Ferrari has the most wins by a constructor with fourteen. Only four active drivers have won at Montreal. (Hamilton, Vettel, Ricciardo, and Alonso) 2019 Event: Sebastian Vettel started on pole for the 2019 Canadian Grand Prix while Lewis Hamilton was in second. It was a battle between the two for most of the day until lap 48. Heading into Turn Three, Vettel went through the grass missing Turn Four. While rejoining, Hamilton had to check up to avoid a collision between the two. Vettel was handed a five-second time penalty and was trying to build a gap between him and Hamilton to keep the lead, but unfortunately it did not happen as the margin of victory was only 1.3 seconds. Thus giving the win to Lewis Hamilton. Tire Allocation: C1 -> C5 (Hardest to Softest) Hard: C3 Medium: C4 Soft: C5 Weather: Rain is expected for Friday and Saturday, so expect wet conditions to impact practice and qualifying. On race day, expect clear skies with highs in the low 70s. (Photo: Patrick McDermott/ARCA Racing) Press Release | ARCA Racing MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The rumble of stock car racing will be back at the Milwaukee Mile at Wisconsin State Fair Park on Father’s Day Sunday, June 19. The Father’s Day 100 presented by Hunt Brothers Pizza will headline the event, featuring the ARCA Midwest Tour. The annual event, held on Father’s Day each year, started in 2019 in front of a large crowd of dedicated fans in chilly weather. The 2020 edition of the event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic but returned in 2021. Unfortunately, weather again played a part in last year’s event as a high percentage of rain was in the forecast. Fortunately, fans did get to see a decent amount of racing as the Father’s Day 100 made it past the halfway mark. This year’s race will again see the talented ARCA Midwest Tour competitors racing in the Father’s Day 100 presented by Hunt Brothers Pizza. Austin Nason claimed the win at the event in 2019, while NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver, Ty Majeski, took the win in 2021. This season, the Midwest Tour has seen Luke Fenhaus (Slinger Super Speedway), Casey Johnson (Madison International Raceway), and Jacob Nottestad (Jefferson Speedway) take victories over strong fields of cars. Among the competitors expected for Sunday’s race is NASCAR Cup Series star Erik Jones, who will compete with the ARCA Midwest Tour during an off weekend in his NASCAR schedule. The Midwest Truck Series is off to a great start this season and will look to continue that momentum into next Sunday’s event in Milwaukee. The series has held five events and has had a different winner at each race so far. Chester Ace (Dells Raceway Park), Kevin Knuese (Madison International Raceway), James Swan (Marshfield Motor Speedway), Bryce Miller (State Park Speedway), and Brandon Reichenberger (Golden Sands Speedway) have taken this year’s checkered flags. Ron Vandermier, Jr. is off to a hot start with the Mid-Am Racing Series, claiming the first two events of the season at Rockford Speedway and Tomah Sparta Speedway. Vandermier and the series head to Hawkeye Downs Speedway this weekend before racing at the Milwaukee Mile next weekend. Rounding out the Father’s Day festivities will be the Upper Midwest Vintage Racing Series. The awesome group of cool looking vintage cars, that actually race hard for victory, was scheduled to open this past weekend at Slinger but was canceled due to weather. After a race this weekend at Marshfield Motor Speedway, the vintage cars and drivers will head to Milwaukee for another great event. June 19 pit gates will open at 7 a.m. with grandstand gates set to swing open at 9 a.m. Practice for the event will begin at 9:30 a.m., qualifying at 11 a.m., and racing action will take the green at 1 p.m. A Midwest Tour autograph session is set to take place behind the grandstands at 12:15 p.m. Reserved tickets for the June 19 event can be purchased online for a $5 discount by going to trackenterprises.com.

  • Rasmussen Breaks Through with First Lights Win at Road America

Press Release | Photo Courtesy, Indycar ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (Sunday, June 12, 2022) – After some near-wins and several heartbreaking weekends, Christian Rasmussen is a race winner in Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires, scoring his first career win Sunday in the Indy Lights Grand Prix at Road America. Danish driver Rasmussen beat his Andretti Autosport teammate Sting Ray Robb to the finish line by 2.3573 seconds in the No. 28 Road to Indy/Stellrecht car. To secure the win, Rasmussen made a daring move to the outside of Robb’s No. 2 Sekady car inT urn 1 on a Lap 11 restart and never looked back. It was a similar heart-stopping move that he pulled on Robb on Lap 1 of the 20-lap race. Rasmussen, who won the 2020 USF2000 championship and the 2021 Indy Pro 2000championship, led 18 of the 20 laps after starting third. The win came after he finished 13th in both races of the doubleheader last weekend at Detroit. “It feels amazing,” Rasmussen said. “I think Detroit (last weekend) was the worst weekend of my life, so to bounce back with a win like this is definitely an amazing way to show everyone that we’re here and we’re able to compete for wins.” Rookie Hunter McElrea drove to a strong third-place finish in the No. 27 Andretti Autosport car, holding off hard-charging championship leader Linus Lundqvist in the No. 26 HMD Motorsports with Dale Coyne Racing car over the final nine laps. Jacob Abel rounded out the top five in the No. 51 Abel Speedwagon. The race featured three cautions on the day, the most notable of which came on Lap 9 and resulted in a red flag and nearly four-hour break in the action. Christian Bogle drove his No. 7 HMD Motorsports with Dale Coyne Racing car over the curb outside Turn 5. It lifted the front of the car into the catch fence, damaging the fence and requiring a red flag for extensive repairs. Bogle was unhurt during the incident and finished 12th.The time needed to fix the catch fence forced the final half of the Indy Lights race to be postponed to after the NTT INDYCAR SERIES race at Road America, won by Josef Newgarden. While pole sitter Robb couldn’t break his trend of being on the lower steps of the podium – he’s scored five podiums in seven races this season – he did inch ever so closer to points leader Lundqvist, who has had a dominating first half of the season. After Lundqvist’s fourth-place finish, he’s still the Indy Lights points leader. But Robb jumped from fourth to second in the standings, 82 points back of his Swedish championship challenger. Rasmussen jumped one position to sixth in the championship, 115 points back of Lundqvist. While Rasmussen has been strong in his rookie Indy Lights season, he’s rarely had the finishes to show for it. He was on his way to a win in the season-opening race on the Streets of St. Petersburg, but a mechanical issue coming to the white flag prevented him from winning, and he finished 12th. In the second race of the season at Barber Motorsports Park, and just last weekend in the Detroit doubleheader, Rasmussen had a strong car, but contact prevented him from finishing better. He was 11th at Barber and 13th in both Detroit races last weekend, which made Sunday’s win all the sweeter as he redeemed himself and found Victory Lane on the 14-turn, 4.048-mile road course in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. “It’s been coming,” Rasmussen said. “It’s been coming for quite a while. I’m just so happy I can give it to these Andretti Autosport boys. I feel like we’ve deserved it a few times now, so finally being able to do it is a great feeling. ”Indy Lights is back in action after a two-week break with the eighth race of the season, at 11:30a.m. (ET) Sunday, July 3 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, live on Peacock Premium and INDYCAR Radio Network.

  • Newgarden Wins at Road America, Claims $1 Million PeopleReady Bonus

Photo: Twitter.com/JosefNewgarden ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (Sunday, June 12, 2022) – It’s safe to say Josef Newgarden feels like a million bucks after winning the Sonsio Grand Prix at Road America presented by AMR on Sunday. Newgarden drove to his third victory of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES season in the No. 2 PPG Team Penske Chevrolet and earned the $1 million PeopleReady Force for Good Challenge bonus. The Challenge rewards the first driver to win on all three types of circuits – road courses, street circuits and oval tracks – in 2022. The $1 million is shared, with $500,000 going to Team Penske and Nashville-area native Newgarden and $500,000 donated to Newgarden’s chosen charities. Newgarden, who previously won this season on the Texas Motor Speedway oval and the Long Beach street circuit, selected two charities to split the $500,000 portion – SeriousFun Children’s Network and Wags and Walks Nashville. To finally get it done and most importantly to give that money to charity, half of that money is going to charity with SeriousFun Network and Wags and Walks Nashville,” Newgarden said. “I hope they’re happy about it. That’s a lot of money coming their way. “You’ve got to be on your toes at all times (in this series). You can go in with a plan, but you probably have to change your plan 90 percent of the time once the race starts to unfold. To be able to hit all these disciplines with this team, for me it’s the best series in the world.” 2022 Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge winner Marcus Ericsson finished second in the No. 8 Huski Chocolate Chip Ganassi Racing Honda, 3.3710 seconds behind Newgarden. It was Ericsson’s fourth consecutive top-seven finish, and he regained the NTT INDYCAR SERIES championship lead by 27 points over previous leader Will Power, who finished 19th in the No. 12 Verizon Team Penske Chevrolet. NTT P1 Award winner Alexander Rossi finished third in the No. 27 NAPA AUTO PARTS/AutoNation Honda. A second consecutive podium result this month continued a strong surge for Rossi, who has three straight top-five finishes this season. Romain Grosjean finished fourth in the No. 28 DHL Honda, with teammate Colton Herta rounding out the top five in the No. 26 Gainbridge Honda after starting 11th. Andretti Autosport placed three cars in the top five – Rossi, Grosjean and Herta. Newgarden, who started second, prevailed despite two cautions in the last 10 laps of the race that evaporated his 2.8-second lead over Rossi. The first restart, on Lap 50, lasted less than half a lap because four-time Indianapolis 500 winner Helio Castroneves spun in his No. 06 AutoNation/SiriusXM Honda exiting the final turn on the uphill climb to the green flag. That bunched the field again on the 14-turn, 4.048-mile road course for a restart on Lap 52, with Newgarden leading Rossi, Ericsson, Herta and Grosjean. Two-time series champion Newgarden rocketed away from the field on the second restart, just as he did the first. Those rapid restarts built too big of a gap for any challenges, helping Newgarden avoid a repeat of his heartache in last year’s race at Road America, when he lost the lead to Alex Palou due to a mechanical problem on a restart with two laps to go. Newgarden led a race-high 26 of 55 laps, taking the top spot for good during rivals’ pit stops on Lap 43. “I was just trying to stay focused on what I had to do,” Newgarden said. “Just an unbelievable job by everybody at Team Penske.” While Newgarden was locked into a winning groove over the last three laps, a mad scramble for the next four positions unfolded behind him. Ericsson dove under Rossi in Turn 1 on Lap 53 after the restart to take second. Then Grosjean passed Herta for fourth place while crossing under the flag stand with the white flag unfurled to signal the final lap. “I tried to be really aggressive on that last restart, and it cost us,” Rossi said. “But we were trying to win the race. But ultimately a good day. Josef certainly had a little better base than us, and it took us until the last stint to dial in the balance of the car. "We were coming back on him pretty quickly. I don’t think we could have beat him, but all in all, it was a good day.” The runner-up finish for Ericsson came despite contact with teammate and reigning series champion Palou while racing for third in Turn 5 on Lap 4. Palou finished 27th in the No. 10 The American Legion Honda. "First of all, I’m really sorry,” Ericsson said. “You never want to have contact with a teammate. From my point of view, the door was open, and I was already side by side. If you see a gap, you go for it. It’s important at the beginning of the race to get track position. “It was a really good race, and we had a really strong weekend. Super happy with P2.” The next NTT INDYCAR SERIES race is The Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio presented by the AllNew Civic Type R on Sunday, July 3 (noon ET, NBC, Peacock Premium, INDYCAR Radio Network).

  • NCS Race Recap: Mexican Daniel Suárez wins first career NASCAR Cup Series race at Sonoma Raceway

By Holly Cain NASCAR Wire Service “Win Numero Uno.” Those were the words on the flag Mexican driver Daniel Suárez held out the window of his No. 99 Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet as he turned celebratory “donuts” on the frontstretch of Sonoma (Calif.) Raceway Sunday afternoon in the ecstatic first moments of his first ever NASCAR Cup Series victory. Suárez’s No. 99 Chevrolet pulled away from runner-up Chris Buescher’s RFK Racing Ford in the closing laps to take an impressive 3.849-second maiden NASCAR Cup Series win on the 1.99-mile Northern Californian road course – the third victory of the season for the second-year Trackhouse Racing team whose members rushed over the pit road wall to embrace their driver and celebrate the historic achievement. With the win, in his 195th NASCAR Cup Series start, Suárez becomes the fifth different driver not born in the United States to win in the NASCAR Cup Series; joining Marcos Ambrose (Australia), Juan Pablo Montoya (Colombia), Earl Ross (Canada) and Mario Andretti (Italy). And he did so convincingly. He led a race best 47 of the 110 laps and ultimately took one of the largest margins of victory on the season. Suárez, the 2016 NASCAR Xfinity Series champion, screamed in joy on his team radio on the cool-down lap and after exiting his car, smashed a pinata. Congratulations soon came in from across the racing world on social media – including former seven-time NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson – all before Suárez had even hoisted his trophy. “I have so many thoughts in my head right now," an emotional Suárez said, thanking his team owner Justin Marks, his family, and “all the people who helped me get to this point." “So very happy we were able to make it work," Suárez added, saying of his team, “They believed in me from day one." He then offered a message of thanks in Spanish to the large crowd of his “Amigos” - the name of his fan club cheering trackside – and ended it in English by promising, “this is one of many.” The 30-year-old Suárez, from Monterrey, Mexico, is now the 12th different winner of the 2022 season – and fourth first-time winner. The top-four finishing drivers Sunday were all looking for their first win of the season. Front Row Motorsports driver Michael McDowell finished third, followed by Stewart-Haas Racing’s Kevin Harvick in fourth. This year’s Daytona 500 winner, Sunoco Rookie of the Year candidate Austin Cindric was fifth, followed by his Team Penske Racing teammate Ryan Blaney. Suárez’s Trackhouse Racing teammate Ross Chastain was seventh, followed by Hendrick Motorsports drivers Chase Elliott and William Byron. Buescher’s RFK Racing teammate and team co-owner Brad Keselowski was 10th – his best finish since a ninth-place showing in the season-opening Daytona 500. For much of the early-going, it looked like Elliott and his Hendrick teammate – defending race winner Kyle Larson – may well decide the win. But both had to overcome uncharacteristic pit stop miscues that allowed Suárez to essentially dominate the closing laps. Elliot, who led 26 laps, pitted outside his box and had to serve a penalty that put him 34th - last in the field among those still running. His rally to an eighth-place finish was impressive considering the adventurous day. Larson, the polesitter who also led 26 laps and won Stage 1, had a right front wheel come off his Chevrolet heading into Turn 2 right after a pit stop. His team now faces a mandatory penalty for that infraction that includes a four-race suspension for the team’s crew chief (Cliff Daniels) and both the tire changer and jackman. The defending series champion finished 15th. On an upside, however, the combined 52 laps led by Elliott and Larson topped the 100,000 all-time miles led mark for Hendrick Motorsports – most in NASCAR history. With his eighth-place finish, Elliott still holds a 16-point advantage on Chastain in the NASCAR Cup Series championship standings. The NASCAR Cup Series has its only “off week” of the season next week but will return to competition on June 26 in the Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway (5 p.m. ET, NBC, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio). • World Premiere of Kyle Busch Documentary “ROWDY” Set For Regal Opry Mills in Nashville On June 23

LOS ANGELES (June 2, 2022) – Utopia and Fathom Events today announce plans to hold the world premiere of the critically acclaimed Kyle Busch documentary “ROWDY” at Nashville’s Regal Opry Mills on the evening of Thursday, June 23. Chronicling the career of one of the most successful and controversial drivers in NASCAR history, “ROWDY” was produced by Chance Wright of Wright Productions along with Hans Schiff and John Stevens of Venture 10 Studio Group. The global premier will be held only days before the NASCAR Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway on Sunday, June 26. “ROWDY” will the screen for one night only in theaters nationwide on the evening of Wednesday, June 29. “Given its significance to both the NASCAR and music worlds, we felt that Nashville would be the ideal location for this worldwide premiere,” said Wright. “This promises to be a truly memorable week in Music City, in anticipation of the NASCAR race. We’re thrilled to be part of the celebration.” Establishing one of the greatest and most memorable comebacks in sports history, Busch - who earned the moniker “ROWDY” because of his flat-out, no-holds-barred racing style - is widely considered to be one of the most polarizing drivers of the contemporary NASCAR Series. The documentary provides a special look at his unmatched talent and singular determination to win at everything while giving candid insights from family, friends and NASCAR personnel on his life and career. Busch confronts his physical limits when he sustains a potentially career-ending wreck in 2015, only to find a path to win the series championship that same season. His journey is ranked as one of the greatest sports comebacks of all time. Busch’s irreverent personality, whether in or out of the driver’s seat, has earned him both diehard fans and vehement detractors, though his accomplishments are irrefutable. His 60 Cup wins lead all active drivers, ranking Busch ninth on the all-time wins list. Busch is the all-time record-holder for wins in both the NASCAR Xfinity Series (102) and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (61). Busch has a total of 223 victories in all three NASCAR national series. In addition to interviews with Busch himself, the documentary provides commentary from some of NASCAR’s most legendary personalities, including but not limited to: NASCAR superstars Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jeff Gordon, team owners Rick Hendrick and Joe Gibbs, brother Kurt Busch and wife Samantha Busch.

  • Verstappen claims redemption in Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

(Photo Credit: Formula One on Twitter) In the 2021 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, it looked like Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing would be cruising to another dominate win in what ended up to be a world championship season. With a rear-tire failure on the pit straight ending his day, Verstappen has only finished one start in his career in Baku. On Sunday, the racing gods looked over him and Team Red Bull as they took two of the three podium positions at the end of 51 laps in Baku. The race started with Charles Leclerc and Sergio Perez battling into turn one with Leclerc locking up his left-front tire and ran wide, which gave the lead to Perez claiming a win out of the proverbial "holeshot." As they came to complete lap one, Perez was already out of DRS range of Leclerc and his team mate of Verstappen rounded out the top three. This battle continued for nine laps until the first Virtual Safety Car of the day was released. That safety period was brought out by Carlos Sainz who pulled his car into the Turn Four escape road with a hydraulic failure which forced him to retire. Ferrari called Leclerc down in to pit road for a change to the hard compound tires and with an issue on the front jack, Leclerc had a stop of 5.4 seconds and dropped him to third place. Perez and Verstappen restarted first and second on lap eleven and the gap between the two started to shrink as Perez was told not to fight for his position. On lap 15 with aid of DRS the defending world champion took the lead. On Lap 20, after managing overheated rear tires on his car, Leclerc had to retire from the race with an engine failure coming down the main straight. For Ferrari, a terrible day in Baku didn't help with damage control for the team. In the Spanish GP, Leclerc suffered a failure of the MGU-H turbo and the failed strategy in Monaco has significantly hurt the Scuderia with penalties coming to Leclerc for using a third power unit when Formula One returns to Canada in a few weeks. Lap 34 saw the second VSC of the day when another Ferrari powered car of Kevin Magnussen was forced to retire after his power unit failed after fighting for 11th with Ocon. Joining three other Ferrari powered cars in retirement, Zhou Guanyu of Alfa Romeo was also forced to retire with engine troubles. Red Bull Racing took the opportunity to double-stack both of their cars on a Lap 34 pit stop for a fresh set of hard tires as the both set sail and checked out from the field after that. The battle then turned to the midfield as the Ferrari troubles secured Mercedes drivers George Russell and Lewis Hamilton Third and Fourth place finishes respectfully. For Max Verstappen, it was his 25th victory in Formula One and his first in Azerbaijan. George Russell has been Mr. Consistency in F1 as being the only driver to finish inside the Top Five in all of his starts this season. Formula One returns to the track with the much anticipated return to Circuit Gilles Villeneuve for the Canadian Grand Prix, June 19th.

  • Daniel Suarez Wins His First Cup Series Race in Sonoma

By Adam Carabine In his 195th career Cup Series race, Daniel Suarez finally broke through and won at Sonoma Raceway on Sunday. Suarez was already the first Mexican-born driver in the Cup Series, but he became just the fifth winner to not be born in the United States. The race featured few incidents, with only 2 cautions other than the stage breaks, so track position was key. Suarez had a fast car all weekend, having qualified 8th. A long green flag run played into his hands perfectly. Suarez acknowledged that 2nd placed finisher Chris Buescher might have had the better car, saying “I knew [he] was very strong in the short run, probably a little bit better than me, but in the middle part of the run I was better than him, and in the long run I feel like I was better than him, and that was able to play out very good at the end.” “I knew that if I could stay up front for just the first five to seven laps, I was going to be able to control the race. The last 10 to five laps, I was just trying to take care of my tires just in case we had to have a restart.” The race stayed green, and Suarez crossed the finished line first. He talked about the feelings he was experiencing while taking the checkered flag, “I just didn’t know what to do! It was special. Man, I’ve been working very hard for this moment, not just myself, but my entire team. I’m very, very lucky to have great people around me, in my team, but also outside my team. My family, my beautiful girlfriend Julia, she worked very hard in the last few months keeping me up, and letting me know that I was doing the right things. We just needed to have a clean day, and that’s what we had today.” He also said that he’d had a good feeling about today even before the race started. “Today just felt special. I told [my girlfriend] this morning that today felt good, and we did it in front of a few hundred Mexicans in Daniel’s Amigos.” Daniel’s Amigos is a group of local Suarez fans/guests from the Latino community that are personally invited to the race by Daniel. He spent an hour and a half with them earlier Sunday, and saw them cheering him on throughout the race. Suarez’s win in the #99 Trackhouse Chevrolet Camaro has been a long time coming. His teammate in the #1 has already won two races this season. Team owner Justin Marks had this to say about whether their early success was a surprise: “What I tell people is that I’m not surprised we’re a winning race team because I wouldn’t have started this project if I didn’t think, really truly believe, that the opportunity existed to build a new race team in this sport that could win. It’s just happened really quickly, that’s been the surprise. To me it kind of makes sense because we’ve got such great people that work so hard, and the promise of this car is being delivered every single weekend.” Crew chief Travis Mack also weighed in on the winning culture at Trackhouse, saying “We’re just having fun! I’ve never been at a place that’s had so much fun and we’re building fast race cars and everybody’s enjoying work, it’s just a great place to be right now. The team chemistry is amazing between the 1 and the 99, it really feels like one team fielding two cars, and we’re just confident in each other and our capabilities of winning races and bringing the best cars to the track every week.” Suarez’s win came in his sixth full-time Cup Series season, and while he’s remained confident throughout his Cup career, it takes a bit of pressure off of him. He said, “I came from a very humble family, and every step of my life has cost me a lot. I knew it was important to remember that if I was able to come all the way here, I wasn’t going to give up here. But knowing that you hadn’t won yet, there is a little bit of doubt. I knew I was fast, I knew I could race with the guys that are winning, but I hadn’t shown that first victory. […] It was hard to stay on track, but at the end, my team, everyone stayed together and we kept pushing. I told them ‘Bad luck doesn’t last forever, but tough people do.’”
