- "I'm Not Leaving This Sport Until I Win in the ARCA Series" - Exclusive Interview with Amber Balcaen
(Photo Credit: Adam Glanzman/NASCAR) By Logan Morris Amber Balcaen still has goals to achieve in racing and she has no intention of stopping until she achieves them. In 2025 she has one goal in mind and that’s to win. I had the chance to speak to her recently and she made that very clear. With her newly minted opportunity at Nitro Motorsports in the ARCA Menards Seres, She feels this is the right fit to achieve that goal. “I want to win. I’m coming into this season with the belief that I can win, and I really think I can do that with Nitro Motorsports. They’re great guys, and they build fast cars. As for what else I have lined up in 2025, I’m still working on it. I’m hustling every day, trying to stay on track, keep my sponsors happy, and inspire others to pursue their dreams. I won’t give up on mine.” She’s determined to win before she ever considers calling it a day. Her passion has not waned as we head toward the 2025 season. “Racing is in my blood—it’s my passion. That drive never goes away. The more I race, the more confidence I gain in my abilities. I feel more capable than ever of winning, and I’m not leaving the sport until I win in the ARCA series. That’s my goal, and that’s what drives me.” Photo Credit: x.com/ amberbalcaen10 ) With her background as a motivational speaker, she understands how to persevere in trying times. "I’ve been racing for 23 years, and I’ve done it all on my own—no big management team behind me. I’ve raised over $5 million for sponsorships and built my own brand. I run all my own social media, websites, and everything. Through both racing and business, I’ve learned a lot—made mistakes and learned from them. Now, I want to share those lessons to help others make their journey a little easier.” In a recent practice session at Daytona, Amber Balcaen had the fastest car on the track. Going to the top of the board was a major confidence booster heading into the season. “I’m really excited to work with Nick Tucker and the whole Nitro Motorsports team. We clicked right away, which is usually something that takes time to build. I trust them, and I think they trust me. I’m excited to see what we can accomplish together.” The ARCA Menards Series kicks off next month at Daytona on February 15th.

Joining him is Isack Hadjar, the 2024 Formula 2 runner-up, who has been promoted to the team. The key question is whether Tsunoda can deliver a strong enough performance to secure a seat elsewhere or, if Liam Lawson struggles at Red Bull, position himself as a potential mid-season replacement. After Daniel Ricciardo's season-long struggles and eventual demotion, the Red Bull junior team regressed in 2024, losing ground as a competitive mid-table threat. With a motivated Yuki Tsunoda and the addition of promising newcomer Isack Hadjar, the team aims to regain consistency and re-establish itself as a strong mid-table contender in 2025. Bold prediction Yuki Tsunoda fails to show any meaningful improvements and loses his F1 seat altogether for 2026.

Alpha Prime probably doesn’t have the cash to compete for the playoffs from a points perspective, but with the win-and-you’re-in model in place, they could sneak their way in there with a SuperSpeedway win.
- Mike Wallace Not Approved to Compete in 2025 Daytona 500
Press Release | MBM MOTORSPORTS MBM Motorsports can confirm that NASCAR has deemed Mike Wallace is not eligible to compete in the 2025 Daytona 500, despite eleven previous 500 starts and several superspeedway wins, due to lack of recent races in major professional motorsports. We are devastated for Mike and the Wallace family that this opportunity will not come to fruition. For MBM, we must regroup at this late stage with the loss of our driver and sponsor for The Great American Race. Our team is working swiftly to sign another funded driver for Speedweeks in order to still attempt the 67th Daytona 500. (Photo Courtesy NASCAR)
